FAMILY band 'Yorkie' entertained the crowds at Golberdon Village Hall to welcome in the New Year.

Patsy, Roy, Adam and Teresa make up the band, and guests Josh Tobell and Jacqui Crow joined them for the evening, where the audience danced the night away.

Raffle proceeds from the event amounted to £221 and were given to Derriford Children's Cancer Service.

The band expressed thanks to Golberdon Village Hall, Gwyne and Barry Tennent, Josh Tennent, Tony Tobell and Daniel Tobell for their invaluable help throughout the successful evening.

The band also thanked the fancy dressers and all performers, dancers and customers of Libra hairdressers and Adam's Barber Shop.
