Tavistock Library writers? group were delighted to welcome Margaret Duffy, a local crime writer who has published more than 16 crime fiction novels, some of which are set in the West Country. Members of the group each wrote a short crime fiction story and Margaret answered questions on working as a writer, characters and plot and getting work published. Margaret has worked for both the Inland Revenue and the Ministry of Defence.When not writing, she works as a garden designer. The event was organised by organised by Myfanwy Cook and Ann Pulsford who will welcome new members to the group which meets on the second Friday of each month at Tavistock Library. The next meeting on Friday December 14 at 9.30am will include poems and short stories with a Christmas theme read by the writers? group. All are welcome to attend.
