THERE has been a significant drop in incidents in Mary Tavy reported to the police during the past year.
The latest crime statistics for the year ending March 31 show that there were only 12 reports compared with 20 in the previous year. Of these five were detected and seven were not, but the conviction rate is not clear.
Undetected crimes related to theft or damage to property, whereas successful detections were two assaults, two drink-driving offences and one case relating to the possession of an offensive weapon.
