REFERENCE the recent photograph in your newspaper of the Okehampton Cricket Club, June 1952, via Mike and Hilary Wreford. We are pleased to be able to tell you that J E Parke in the back row is still alive and well at 90, though he can no longer bowl a maiden over.

He is our brother-in-law and lives up in Suffolk with his wife, Eileen, about a mile from us. There may be a few people who still remember him and would like to know he is still going strong, though recently had to give up driving the motor and playing golf.
