FIREFIGHTERS were called to a well-alight chimney fire at a property in Orchard Meadow in Chagford l week.
One crew from Chagford attended just after 9pm on December 30 and on arrival, asked for assistance from another fire appliance, which was sent from Moretonhampstead Fire Station.
The crews found the chimney at the property to be well-alight and used a triple extension ladder, one roof ladder, safety equipment, one hose reel, tools and chimney gear to tackle the blaze.
