TWO fire engines, the police and an ambulance attended a collision involving two vehicles near Buckland Monachorum last Saturday.

Fire crews from Bere Alston and Yelverton were sent to the incident at Denham Bridge, where two passengers were trapped in one of the vehicles. The crews made the vehicles safe using strops and small tools and assisted the two people from one of the vehicles.
