SEVERAL schools from across Dartmoor have been working with Dartmoor National Park Authority staff to create an online exhibition as part of the national park's 60th anniversary celebrations.
Classes of children from five schools, including Horrabridge Primary , Moretonhampstead Primary and South Tawton Primary, were taken out on to Dartmoor to help inspire their work.
Then, in classroom sessions, the children discussed Dartmoor's past, present and future, aided by staff from the DNPA.
Pupils from six different classes, a total of 140 children of different ages and abilities, then used experiences gained on the field trips to create pictures, prints, poetry, stories, maps and models, all of which can now be seen on the DNPA's website.
All of the pupils who attended the field trips contributed something to the online exhibition.
