TAW Valley Creamery at North Tawton is celebrating after being re-accredited with the important Environmental Standard ISO 14001.
The re-accreditation joins a gold medal award for occupational health and safety, which was presented to the Creamery by the British Safety Council in May this year.
Jim Dunlop, cheese production manager, said: 'We are delighted with our re-accreditation, which demonstrates our continued commitment to the environmental impact of our operations.'
The ISO 14001 environmental standard is specifically designed to provide a framework for incorporating environmental protection into overall management strategy.
Taw Valley Creamery, which employs 125 people, is one of Europe's largest creameries.
It produces more than 20 different cheeses, including brands such as Churnton and Red Seal.
