CREAM teas will be served on Easter Sunday and Monday at Sourton Parish Hall. The event is in aid of St Thomas-a-Beckett Church in Sourton, which is saving for a glass screen to be installed between the church's tower and its main building, to keep its congregation warmer. The church will also be serving cream teas over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend, during the last weekend in July, and on every Sunday in August. The Easter event, however, will offer visitors the added attraction of seeing the churchyard looking its most beautiful — decked with an abundance of crocuses, daffodils, primroses and other flowers.
