THE Friends of Okehampton WI held a cream tea afternoon on May 21 in the church hall to raise funds for Hospiscare.

A grand sum of £400 was raised, thanks to the hard work of the WI Friends. President of the Okehampton WI Jenny Pedrick presented the cheque to local Hospiscare co-ordinator Jill Voaden.

Organisers expressed thanks to all those who helped the afternoon to be such a success.
