A successful cream tea was held at Whitchurch Village Hall by the Friends of Children’s Hospice South West (CHSW) in Tavistock.

The event raised more than £370 for CHSW. West Devon Mayor, Cllr Jeff Moody and his wife Bev attended the tea and were entertained with songs by the children of Old School Nursery, who also made a donation to the charity.

The organisers expressed thanks to the local community for supporting the worthwhile cause.
