A DRIVER escaped unharmed after his car hit a granite stone and overturned between Cadover Bridge and Meavy on Sunday night.
The man, who lives in Plymouth, climbed out of his Toyota Supra and raised the alarm himself. He told police he had been dazzled by an on-coming vehicle whose headlights had not been dipped.
Yelverton fire crew were called to the scene to recover the vehicle at about 10pm.
Later the same night, a motorist from Tavistock lost control of his car on the A386 near Yelverton.
The man careered through a fence on the Yelverton side of the golf course entrance at around 1am on Monday. He was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
