ARTS and crafts from around the South West will be on show in Chagford for the annual Wonderworks Arts and Crafts Fair. Now in its fifth year, Wonderworks will be held at the Jubilee Hall, Chagford over the weekend of November 17 and 18. Wonderworks was inspired by a group of professional craftspeople from around the South West and the previous four fairs have been met with great enthusiasm. This year offers jewelry, textiles, baskets, woodwork, clothes, furniture and furnishing accessories. Makers from the Chagford and Okehampton area include Angaharad Barlow with delightful children?s clothes, Ali Hirst and Abigail North with finely crafted ceramics, quilts by Jenny Hutchins and striking silver jewellery from Ann Powell. The fair is of a high quality and provides the ideal opportunity for Christmas shopping as well as a real chance to support the talented and skilled makers in the region.
