A MAN accused of being five times over the legal drink/drive limit has pleaded guilty at Plymouth Magistrates Court.

Patrick Gorman, 47, from the Dawlish area was accused of being five times over the legal limit for driving — 178 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath — the legal limit being 35.

The offence is alleged to have occurred at The Redcliffes, Lewdown.

The case has been adjourned until March 31 at 2pm at Newton Abbot Magistrates Court.

The court made an order for an interim disqualification from driving until the case is completed.
