FATHER Darline Joseph Marianathan presented Pope Benedict XVI's Apostolic blessing to Norma and Patrick Hynes for their golden wedding anniversary on Sunday at St Boniface Catholic Church, Okehampton.

It was a joyous occasion, not only for the Catholic Church at Okehampton, but also for all Christians as the couple are known to have served for decades both the churches and various charities in the town.
