THE three councils behind the draft Plymouth and South West Devon Joint Local Plan have apologised for an error on the map of Tavistock

Cllr Graham Parker, who is West Devon Borough Council’s Lead Member on the Joint Local Plan, said: ‘In the draft Joint Local Plan there is a site named New Launceston Road, this site was inadvertently mapped and numbered incorrectly.

‘We would like to sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this mistake has caused. This error has now been corrected in the documents online and that error will not be carried forward into the plan that is produced later in the year.

‘We can also confirm that Cavanna Homes have lodged an application with us for 148 homes on the site and that planning application is likely to be determined in October.’

Plymouth City Council, South Hams District and West Devon Borough Council are currently running an ongoing consultation on the draft Joint Local Plan, which runs until August 12.
