DEMOCRATIC representation for Devon is set to improve, following the go-ahead decision by the Electoral Commission to create more county councillors.
The Commission has agreed the number of councillors should be increased from 54 to 62 ? however, West Devon will maintain its current representation on the council.
The new arrangements will come into effect next May, when county council elections are held.
