THE termly Stoddard Lecture takes place in the Kelly College Library this Friday evening (March 16). The guest speaker is Dr David Harvey, a cultural and historical geographer from Exeter University. His talk is on the impact of Methodism in Cornwall during the 19th and early 20th Centuries. In it he will trace the growth and development of Methodism in the county and its impact on its social and economic life. The lecture starts at 7.30pm and is open to the public. There is no admission charge.
