Ryan Davis, Mike Cooper and Chris Hawking replaced the trio, showing the depth Hatherleigh now have within their first team squad. Cooper scored the only goal of the game during the first period of the match. Only missed chances stopped Hatherleigh from making the score-line even more convincing. Player manager Clift had the afternoon off due to a family commitment — which allowed young goalkeeper Hawking to shine once again, but with another fine defensive display his talents were rarely tested. This week Hatherleigh entertain Civil Service, knowing a win could move them into the top six of the league. Hatherleigh reserves played AFC Sidford in the match of the day in their division.
