ARGYLE moved top of the league with yet another super attacking display. It took Argyle only ten minutes to gain control in this local derby with Callaghan's close range header starting Winkleigh's downfall.
Argyle's second goal of the afternoon came from Caron, his cross from the left eluded everyone to find its way into the net.
Winkleigh defended well for the rest of the first half and at the interval Argyle had not added to their tally.
Winkleigh tried hard to find their feet at the start of the second half but against a gale force wind this was always going to be a problem. A low shot from the edge of the box by Callaghan gave Argyle their third goal. A fourth shortly followed from an own goal.
Coakley's glancing header over the keeper's head with ten minutes remaining was Argyle's fifth, and with time running out man of the match Callaghan completed his hat-trick from a free kick.
