WE were among the ten constituency representatives who went with John Burnett to Westminster to talk to Clare Short about trade justice, as reported in last week?s Times.
We would like to thank John and his wife, Billie, for arranging this opportunity. Apart from having a fascinating day seeing government in action, we were encouraged by the minister?s view that public interest in how trade works does matter.

Fair Trade Fortnight in March is a reminder to look out for the Fair Trade Mark on goods ranging from tea to bananas. There will be a stall about this, with samples, at the Farmers? Market in Tavistock on March 8.
