AN INCREASE in dog fouling is causing concern in Bere Alston.
The local dog warden has been given extra hours in the village by the Safety Partnership and incidents have been dealt with by him, but at the recent parish council meeting it was stated that there were two dogs in particular causing a problem.
Parish clerk Mary Taylor said there was one spaniel and one collie roaming the village and anyone who saw them should contact the dog warden immediately so he could try to deal with the situation.
Anyone with any information on dog fouling can pick up a form at the parish council offices for forwarding to the dog warden at West Devon Borough Council.
