RESIDENTS?of Calstock parish can have their say on the future of the area at a neighbourhood plan roadshow which starts today, Thursday.

In phase one of the Calstock Parish Neighbourhood Plan, a questionnaire revealed the top topics of most importance to residents were conserving village character, affordable housing, protecting green space between villages, transport links/employment and wild habitats.

The neighbourhood planning team has now entered phase two which will see various events held throughout the parish to meet with and listen to the views of residents. The team wants to know what residents want and don’t want so it can compile a plan that is right for the parish.

The roadshow starts today at Gunnislake Public Hall from 10am to noon, Gunnislake Church Hall on Tuesday, October 6, from 10am to 4pm, Delaware School on Thursday, October 8, from 5pm to 7pm, Calstock School on Wednesday October 14, from 2pm to 4pm, Calstock Village Hall on Thursday, October 15, from 10am to noon and Friday, October 16, from 5pm to 7pm.
