As part of the children's party and musical fun day being organised for Monday, June 3, singers from Yelverton will take part in the BBC Music Live chain of beacons event.
Organisers expect a good turnout at the Yelverton street party to join in with the link-up of singers all across the country.
Other events to mark the jubilee in Yelverton will include poetry, painting and fancy dress competitions.
A karaoke event and auction was held at the Leg O'Mutton in Yelverton recently and £110 was raised for the jubilee events.
The chosen song the chorus of Yelverton voices will join the rest of the country in singing along to, is the Beatles' classic 'All you need is love'. The song was felt to be appropriate because it was originally composed in 1967 to be performed for a global television broadcast.
The Queen will lead the singing during the nationwide link-up and Sir Paul McCartney will also take part in the performance.
