Community knees-up raises funds for theatre company

DARTMOOR-based MED Theatre is staging a ceilidh for a second year running this weekend.

After the fun of last year's ceilidh, where young and old danced together, MED Theatre wants to get the community's feet tapping once again.

The ceilidh will feature the music of The Steve Turner, Lawrence Morgan-Anstee, David Faulkner Trio, who all perform regularly with the Eelgrinders.

The event, to raise funds for MED Theatre's work in local communities and schools in and around Dartmoor, is family friendly and open to all. It will take place from 7pm until 11pm at Moretonhampstead Parish Hall on Saturday February 7. Tickets cost £7 for adults, £4 for concessions and children.
