Exbourne and Jacobstowe Community Association held a successful jumble sale to help raise money towards its new village shop.

More than £327 was raised at the event, which will see £50 donated to Exbourne Primary School towards its new website.

The website has been set up by Exbourne Primary School Parents' Association to encourage children to come to the school.

The parents' association expressed thanks to all those who contributed and helped towards raising the funds, particularly the stalwart team of jumble sale ladies.

The parents' association will be holding a Christmas Shop and Big Breakfast next month.

Everyone is welcome to come along to the event, which will have a wide variety of stalls from locally produced meat, bread, cakes and vegetables, to chocolates, jewellery, pottery and stained glass.

The event is on Saturday, November 21 in Exbourne Village Hall.
