ON two or three recent trips in and out of Okehampton I?ve noticed a gentleman picking up rubbish along the stretch of road from Giblands Estate along towards Mole Avon. Judging by his attire he is a good willed member of the community, rather than a council employee.
Could I thank this gentleman, through your pages, firstly for doing the litter picking, and secondly for giving me the kick up the backside I need to get back in the habit of picking up litter when I see it lying around the place?
