A SALESMAN from South Zeal found a relaxing way to promote his wares at the show.

Garry Smith, sales and production manager with Cornish Beds, relaxed on the company's hand-made Victorian style bespoke beds as he spoke to the Times.

He said on the opening day: 'It is our first time at the Devon County Show, and it is nice to get as local as possible when promoting the company.

'There has been a lot of interest in the beds, and fingers crossed it gets better as it goes on. On Fridays, lots of people work half-days, and Saturday should be buzzing.'

With their unique sales technique, Cornish Beds is sure to has been lots of interest.
