OKEHAMPTON Columbines Ladies' hockey club have started hockey training on Wednesdays at the Okehampton College all-weather pitch at 8pm.
Columbines are in a new league this season travelling in the Plymouth and Cornwall direction rather than the long journeys into Dorset.
Anyone is welcome to come to training and it would be nice to see some new younger players.
First team league and friendlies are played on Saturdays and occasional second team matches are played on Sundays. There are coaching sessions over the season taken by a qualified hockey coach.
