OKEHAMPTON ladies? hockey team were by far the stronger side and pushing forward from the start.
Jo Moppett?s pace on the right wing caused Falmouth problems and a fine solo goal by her from an acute angle opened the scoring.
Columbines scored again early in the second half when Sue Stanbury?s strike from a penalty corner found the back of the net.
Falmouth unwisely gave Kelly Cooper a great deal of space in the middle and she drove the Okehampton attack forward.
Alex Collins, Elaine Morgan and Jane Jones were strong in support in the midfield.
The final tally amounted to three more goals for Stanbury, two for Kelly Cooper and one for Viv Wetheringon.
This week Okehampton are at home to St Austell in the final league game of the season.
