Cullompton Colts 46 Tavistock Colts 0 TAVISTOCK expected a tough game against a well drilled side which is enjoying a successful season The home side had all the possession for the first 10 minutes. Tavistock came back strongly to enjoy their own period of possession but could not turn it into points. The game was reduced to 13 players each as Sherlock and Scourfield had to leave the field through injury. Three first half tries saw the score at 17-0 to Cullompton. They ran in a further five second half tries despite Tavistock?s tackle count being amongst the highest of the season. This would have been more but for the many wide attacks being thwarted by several good tackles by wingers Bolt and Braithewaite. Scrum half Thompson enjoyed a good first half but flanker Tom Fried took the man of the match award with some ferocious tackling and rucking and enjoyed most yardage gained with several long, driving carries.
