SHEBBEAR College Headmaster Mr Bob Barnes has revealed exciting plans to spend £300,000 on four projects over the Easter holidays. The ambitious plans come some way through a period of sustained development at the college, which has already seen considerable expenditure on the infrastructure and site. The wide range of projects completed to-date include new science labs; a new sixth form centre, a new library, a comprehensive refurbishment of boarding facilities and classrooms, and among many other things the replacement of over 70 windows, all in an effort to provide a better quality teaching environment. The four projects, which will all be completed by the end of April, include the provision of an all weather multi use games area; a refectory in a central area of the college; a further three top quality shower and washrooms, as well as a new roof and lighting system for the college sports hall.
