A COFFEE morning held at the Charter Hall, Okehampton, last month raised more than £400 for the Exeter-based St Loye's Foundation. The event on May 24 was organised by The Cosden Friends of St Loye's Society and saw a total of £442 collected. The charity trains people with disabilities to work in the community. St Loyes has undergone changes during the past year and funds are being sought for equipment and vehicles to continue its work. The next fundraising event will be at the Folk Festival held in South Zeal on August 9 and 10. The festival will see a large selection of handmade gifts, soft toys and household items on sale.
