THE next event to support the Okehampton Brownies and Guides to help them raise funds for their new hut will take place next week. A special coffee morning and stall sale will be taking place on Thursday, May 29 in Okehampton's Charter Hall from 8.30am to 1pm. Each stall costs £5, with stall holders encouraged to sell anything they like apart from 'jumble.' All proceeds from the sale of stalls will go towards the new Brownie and Guide hut. There will be a raffle and a tombola as well as refreshments being available. Anyone who wishes to book a stall should contact Edna Hicks on 01837 55915.
