THERE'S an opportunity for budding showmen and women to take to the stage and dazzle at an event in Mary Tavy this month.
Mary Tavy's Got Talent takes place on June 11 — and there is already a very unusual act lined up for the show.
Wendy, a caracara bird of prey from the Falkland Islands, will be performing on stage with her owner, David Buncle, for a top secret act — the only clue to the act released so far is that it involves coconut shells and seaweed!
Anyone who would like to take part in the show, particularly variety artistes, should contact Michelle on 01822 810112.
There is a top prize of £25 for the winning adult, and £10 for the winning child.
The show starts at 7pm in Mary Tavy Coronation Hall.
