A WIDE variety of Easter events are being staged at the National Trust's Castle Drogo near Drewsteignton this month.
Children of all ages can travel back in time and discover what life would have been like for a Norman knight like Drogo de Teign, by following A Knight's Trail around the gardens and grounds between Saturday April 4 and Thursday April 9 and Tuesday 14 to Sunday April 19 April between 11am and 4pm.
Budding knights and princesses can also have a go at shield painting and design their very own coat of arms on April 6 and 14 from 2pm to 4pm and April 9 and 17, from 11am to 1pm.
It wouldn't be Easter without eggs so visitors can also find out about spring chicks, baby owls and other wildlife by following the Easter Trail around the garden at Drogo, from Friday April 10 to Monday April 13, between 11am and 4pm.
Participants will receive a special chocolate egg just for taking part!
