STUDENTS from the Ju Jitsu Tavistock Club took part in this year?s second round of grading examinations, all passing and maintaining the club?s 100% success rate.
Umberto Bergonzini, sensei, said: ?I am extremely pleased by the performance and character demonstrated by my students during the grading examination. I would like to congratulate Rachel Galvin in achieving her 7th kyu and being the most improved student and Simon Scott, one of the club?s very first students, in obtaining his 6th kyu almost half way towards his black belt.?
The club meets on Tuesdays between 7.30pm and 9pm and Thursdays between 8pm and 9pm. Anyone interested in joining can contact Umberto on (01822) 618952 or come to one of the classes held in the dance studio at Tavistock College.
