A SMALL group of swimmers from Tavistock Swimming Club took part in the Exeter City Sprint Meet, all competing in three to five events.
Bethany Thompson (aged nine) swam to eightplace in the 50m backstroke, while Emily Attfield (10) also gained an eight place in the 50m breaststroke.
Eleven year old Harry Thompson was second in the final of the 50m freestyle, third in the final of the 50m breaststroke, fifth in the 50m backstroke and sixth in the 50m butterfly.
Two 12 year olds enjoyed a successful meet. Cameron McGurk gained was second in the 50m butterfly, third in the 50m backstroke and sixth in the final of the 50m freestyle.
Meanwhile, Kieran Rookes was third in the 50m freestyle, sixth in the 100m individual medley and seventh in the 50m butterfly.
Alexandra Stoecker (14) earned 10th place in the 100m individual medley and Nathaniel Rookes (15) was eighth in the 50m breaststroke race.
Also taking part were James Anderson (11), Harriet Edwards (13), Sophie Anderson (13) and Matt Edwards (15).
