TWO members of Tavistock Athletic Club are running this year?s Plymouth Half Marathon for two local charities. Adrian Bower who teaches at Tamarside Community College is running for St Luke?s Hospice, while Nicole Heryet, a clerical assistant at West Devon Care and Repair in Tavistock, is running for the Dame Hannah Rogers School in Ivybridge. Both runners have recently completed their first ever London Marathon, following a vigorous training programme devised by Head Coach at Tavistock AC, Martin Exley. After a short recovery period they are both raring to go for the Plymouth Half Marathon, which is on Sunday May 29, and are hoping to raise £200 plus for each charity.
