BERE Alston Gardening Club is once again staging its annual show in the parish hall next Wednesday (September 10.)
After such an excellent summer, the show committee is hoping for another record entry of exhibits to match the successful events of recent years.
Whilst concentrating on flowers, fruits and vegetables, there are classes for handicraft, cooking, preserves and so on together with the flourishing children?s sections for both primary and secondary age groups.
Chairman of Bere Ferrers Parish Council Eaon Wager will present the prizes.
