THERE was an opportunity to snap up a bargain at a special nearly-new clothes sale held in the Bedford Hotel last week.

The sale of clothes and accessories was held in the Portrait Room at the hotel, and was organised by the Tavistock Friends of Children's Hospice South West.

The sale, an annual event, raised £962.60 and exceeded last year's total.

Any unsold clothes will be recycled through the CHSW shops.
