ALL five of the Mount House netball teams won their matches against St Peter's Lympstone.
The Mount House U13 A team played fast fluid netball and marked well in defence, breaking up most of the St Peter's attacks. When they moved forward they always threatened, and the shooters converted their chances well. Cecily Jervoise and Eliza Sale were outstanding in the 16-9 win. The B team had a positive start to their season, with Imogen Dickinson scoring several excellent goals to secure a victory 9-6.
The U11 A team put in a strong performance to achieve an easy win at home. Confident shooting was helped by good support play around the circle from Lucy Massey and Georgie Morris. Player of the match was Elsa Kent for her faultless defence in a convincing 21-0 victory. The U11 B team had a fast and exciting match, with the Mount centre court players working hard and the shooting and movement around the circle were exemplary. Six goals from Lucy Walliker, three from Lucy McCormick and one from Emma Manton brought the 10-7 win.
The U11 C game started slowly with only one goal in the first half, but improved play in the second period saw the addition of six more as the shooters realised what they were capable of achieving, and Mount House ran out comfortable 7-0 winners to complete a highly successful day.
