ON Sunday, April 24 many local vintage and classic car enthusiasts were on the roads around Tavistock for the annual Drive it Day.

The various events finished the day at Morwellham Quay for a cream tea and a chat about their cars and plans for the summer.

Among the local participants was Jane Hyde with her father’s beautiful Sunbeam tourer and Liz Challis with her 1929 Alvis Silver Eagle which she has owned for over 50 years. She has driven the car all over Europe and across America in 2000.
