SIGNS advertising the Royal Oak Inn at Meavy's popular cider festival, which were stolen earlier in the year, have been found.
The two signs, advertising the festival which took place over the August bank holiday weekend, went missing a day after they were put up from the side of the road in Dousland near Burrator Reservoir.
The signs were found last week by a local farmer in the river bed near Cadover Bridge.
Landlord of the pub Stephen Earp was glad the signs were found as they would have cost around £100 to replace.
The signs have now been handed to the police to see if they can recover any fingerprints.
If anyone has any information regarding the signs or who might have stolen them, contact Tavistock police or the Royal Oak Inn on 01822 852944.
