TAVISTOCK United Reformed Church reopens on Sunday, after a major refurbishment.
The church closed on June 3 and, since then, work has been carried out on the ceiling, roof, walls, and floors, plus carpeting and redecoration.
A toilet for the disabled has been installed and new chairs purchased.
Much of the work was carried out by congregation members with the rest done by building contractor JCS Rowe.
Subject to planning permission, a new entrance ramp will soon replace the nine steps that make access to the building difficult for the elderly and disabled.
The mayor of Tavistock and mayor of West Devon will be attending on Sunday plus representatives of other churches.
Everyone is welcome at 3pm for a prayer meeting, followed by a tea and at 6pm, a service of re-dedication will be led by Rev David Miller, moderator of the URC South Western Synod.
