Church helps a church

AN OKEHAMPTON church has come to the rescue of one of the town?s newer churches to allow it to continue to hold Sunday meetings.

All Saints Parish Church has agreed to allow Inspiration ? Church of the Nations ? to use the Church Hall, in Market Street, on a temporary basis for its Sunday morning meetings.

Inspiration had met in the Octagon Theatre but with the start of work on the new leisure centre it became difficult to access the Octagon on a Sunday morning.

Inspiration?s Mike Davies said: ?We are extremely grateful to the Rev Stephen Cook and his team at All Saints for their kind gesture in letting us use their premises on a Sunday morning.

?Although we appreciate this is only a temporary arrangement it is already proving to be a great benefit, mainly in the reduced time taken for the setting up of equipment.?

Inspiration meetings take place at 10.30am every Sunday.
