FANTASTIC! That was the verdict after a special fundraising event held last week by the newly re-formed Tavistock Friends of Children?s Hospice South West. The event, a motivational talk by Jack Russell, was held at the Chillaton home of the new group?s chairman, Pat Coghill, and was attended by 40 people. Pat said: ?It was a fantastic success. It went down really well, there was a lot of people involvement and participation. ?It was hard work but really good and we made £500 for the hospice, so I am absolutely chuffed!? The group is now planning a charity fashion show, to be held in Whitchurch Village Hall in June.
