A NUMBER of services will take place at various churches in the South Zeal area over the Christmas period.

At St Andrew's Church, South Tawton, there will be a family service and children's nativity on December 20, 10am, midnight communion on Christmas eve at 11.30pm, and morning worship on December 27 at 10am.

Chagford Gospel Church will hold a carol service on December 20 at 3pm. Drewsteignton Church will have a carol service on December 20 at 4pm, midnight communion on Christmas eve at 11.30pm, and a family communion service on Christmas day at 10.45am. At Spreyton Church there will be a candlelight carol service on December 20 at 6pm.

Throwleigh Church is having a carol service on Christmas Eve at 4pm and a holy communion service on Christmas day at 8.30pm.

Hittesleigh Church will hold a crib service on Christmas eve at 4pm, and a carol service on December 27 at 3pm.

St Boniface Church, Okehampton will have a midnight mass on Christmas eve at 11.30pm and the Holy Family Church, Chagford will have mass on Christmas day at 9am.

At Gidleigh Church there will be holy communion with carols on Christmas day at 9.30am, followed by a service of nine lessons and carols on December 27 at 11.15am.

In South Zeal there will be carols on Christmas eve at 6pm.
