ON behalf of myself and everyone within the Town Council I would like to wish you all a warm and Happy Christmas and healthy New Year, to all the people of Okehampton, and readers of the Okehampton Times.

I would like to thank all the organisations who have worked so tirelessly to raise money for their nominated charities throughout 2010.

Let us all give a big thank you to the Chamber of Trade for making our town one of the best decorated in Devon.

Let us remember the true spirit of Christmas.
