ANYONE likely to be on their own on Christmas Day this year and would like some company, is invited to a Christmas Day lunch at the United Reformed Church, Tavistock.

The event, on Saturday December 25, starts at 11am and will finish at 3.45pm. A service will also be held at the church beforehand at 10am, to which all are welcome.

The Christmas lunch is free due to the generous support given by local churches, businesses and individuals.

Anyone who would like to donate to the lunch appeal can do so by sending a cheque, made payable to 'Christmas Day Appeal', to 1, Maple Close, Tavistock, PL19 9LL.
